We have two wines on special at the moment.

Our wonderful Tempra Rosa rosé, For the lovers of rosé

And also our Cabernet Sauvignon as well.

With a light salmon rose colour, lifted floral aromas and hints of strawberry confection, this crisp style rosé is a truly mouth filling wine. A fresh palate of red currant sherbet with crisp acidity finishing with a lemon twist, this Tempra Rosa leaves a lingering fruit character on the palate. Drink now – slightly chilled for maximum enjoyment.

Normally these sell for $228.00 per dozen

This Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits a full palate of dark chocolate, malt, velvety tannins and elegant French oak; this is a wonderfully balanced wine finishing with grip and superb length. For the patient few it will benefit from careful cellaring for 6-8 years.

Australia Day 2012

Tokar Estate meets The Sentimental Bloke

Cj Dennis was an Australian poet known for his humorous poems, especially "The Songs of a Sentimental Bloke", published in the early 20th century.

This year our Australia Day celebrations will be based on the poetry of CJ Dennis. Our Menu will be inspired by these poems with dishes including some of the food mentioned in his poems such as Lamb and peaches.

Along with the food, we are honoured to have a very special guest reading some of this fine humorous Australian poetry, Gold Logie winning Actor Mr John Wood.

John has been performing on stage in Australia for a long time, and this won't just be a reading of poetry, it will be a performance. We have sampled some of the poetry read by John and it is fantastic.

It will be a 5 course menu, with John reading poems in between courses.

We also have live music for the rest of the day.

This will truly be an Australia day not to be missed.

Festivities to start at Midday for a 12:30pm sit down.

Cost is $80.00 pp
